Kick Gas Festival 2009
The Kick Gas Festival will take place on 12 October 2009 and is a very unique event to attend. Instead of smelling the gas fumes and listing to the roar of the engines, the Kick Gas Festival is only open to electric vehicles; and alternative vehicles of all shapes and sizes will be participating in the Electric Vehicle Drag Racing Championship. There will also be an Alternative Vehicle Show, live music and entertainment.

passion of a new generation. This electrifying, solar-powered, “green” event showcases innovative alternative fuel technologies within an interactive and entertaining festival environment.
The 2009 MTS Kick Gas Festival will feature 5 Unique Energy Zones
• Alternative Auto Zone will showcase all types of Alternative Vehicles. Come see Electric Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles,Dragsters, Conversions and Hybrids on display and racing on the Auto Cross Track!
• Sustainable Living Zone featuring home, work and lifestyle ideas, demonstrations, vendors and
exhibitions.
• Interactive Education Zone making it FUN to “go green and kick gas”!
• Kids Zone educating the next generation on how and why to conserve, recycle and go green.
• Locals’ Market with numerous organic farmers and local chefs preparing delicious health-centric dishes.
