VW Uses L.A. Auto Show To Showcase Diesel Technology

It debuted at a news conference at the event with the all-new Touareg V6 TDI clean diesel SUV which is compliant with the regulations of 50 states. It also showed off the new purpose-built VW Red Bull Baja Race Touareg TDI Trophy Truck which will be used at the 2008 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000.

Pontiac Grand Am in New Jersey

Teams racing the Pontiac Grand-Am Daytona Prototype and GT will be making their way to New Jersey for their next race on August 31. The race is set to take place at the brand new New Jersey Motorsports Park, which is located in Millville. The teams will be heating up the Thunderbolt Circuit at the park for the very first time and it will be interesting to note which drivers get a feel for the track the quickest in order to come out on top.

Clash of the Titans to Take Place August 30

The brilliant racing action of the Clash of the Titans will be heading down to the San Antonio Raceway on August 29th and 30th for the absolutely awesome Labor Day Outlaw Streetcar Nationals. Both days promise to offer fans the non-stop thrills that come standard with this level of racing, especially as the race will be another chance to accrue points for the Outlaws series.
